PUB OF THE YEAR 2010 We did it! We won CAMRA's POTY 2010! (We also won the "2009 Outstanding Achievement Award" from South Herts CAMRA) Jason and Tracy welcome you to their popular, award-winning pub. Beer-Lager-Cider The regular list of 6 REAL ales includes You will have to visit us to find out what the full list contains this week! The "Beers Ariving Soon" board is displayed in the bar. Lager drinkers can choose from Staropramen, BitBurger, Heineken, Carlsberg Export, and Carling If you prefer Cider, you will have to take your pick from Dry Blackthorn and Strongbow, both on draught We also sell 1 or 2 hand-pumped ciders, Scrumpy goes almost as quickly as it's put on! Guinness drinkers have the additional choice of "Extra Cold" Bottled Beers include LaChouffe, Leffe, Duvel, Chimay, Peroni, Speckled Hen, London Pride, Holsten ......... (We even have a bottled lager menu for you to browse) We have various bottled ciders and perrys and a wicked ALCOHOLIC Crabbies ginger beer. A couple of very decent white/reds, and lots of soft drinks. Want something we haven't got? Ask for it, you never know! Coffee We have an all-singing, all-dancing coffee machine, to serve you bean-to-cup coffee at any time. Pool Our pool table is only BUT BE WARNED, we do not allow anyone to drink over the cloth We think you will find it is the best table for miles and we want to keep it that way! Live Music (in the Pub) “LIVE MUSIC” EVERY Saturday evening! EVERY week!, (for who is on this week, see the gig list below) “OPEN MIC NITE” Occasional Thursdays, “ALL-MUSIC JAM” LAST Sunday afternoon every month, Please Note Saturday evening gigs start at 9:00 , finishing around 11:00 (From 2010 this will change to 8:30 to 10:30) Sunday gigs start around 3:00 and finish dead on 6:00 The ALL-MUSIC Jam starts at 3:00 and ends dead on 6:00 . Jam musicians need to arrive early and get their names down on the play list. PA, backline and drum kit are supplied, and new faces are always welcome. A backing group for the jam is provided if you need it BEER FESTIVALS We run a number of festivals throughout the year. We normally try to include around 24 real ales and 6 ciders/perrys YOUR OWN FUNCTIONS If you have your own function coming up, outside real ale bars are our speciality.
